Chelsea Building Society raise money for National Star College

Last month staff at Chelsea Building Society Customer Call Centre held a charity day for the National Star College and raised a fantastic £800 which will go towards two news iPads for students at the College.

The action packed day consisted of a raffle, ‘It’s a knockout’ style games and challenges and staff were also encouraged to pay to dress down for the day.

Miles Wallace from the Customer Call Centre said:

'It's been a year since we started the charity committee at our HQ and the generosity from our staff has been overwhelming, and raising funds for the National Star College has been no exception! Students will now they are able to learn and develop their skills with much needed iPads.'

Laura Brookes from the National Star College said:

“The money that the staff at the Chelsea have raised will go towards two new iPads for students at the College. For students with limited movement or limited ways of communicating the iPads really do open up a new world and way for them to communicate. A huge thank you and well done to everyone at the Chelsea.”
